Frostholde

Frostholde is a grim fortress city located in the harsh northern reaches of the Kingdom of Ehrenberg, perched atop a jagged mountain pass that forms the first line of defense against the wild beasts of the deep forests and the horrors from the Blighted Wastes to the north. Its massive, rune-etched stone walls and towering Frosthold Keep are built to withstand both the fierce northern winds and the savage creatures that prowl just beyond its borders. The city is a strategic stronghold, with fortified gates, narrow windows, and tight corridors designed to funnel invaders into kill zones where the elite Frostguard warriors stand ready. Beneath the keep, tunnels and barracks house the soldiers who train relentlessly to defend against the constant threats, while the citizens of Frostholde support the military with weapons, armor, and magical wards to keep the city safe.
